Start with the right deletion
Uninstalling Invoice Studio does not delete a cloud account. Use the in-app account control or the web request below. Deleting a personal account also does not automatically erase records that an organization must retain as its accounting evidence.
Delete a personal cloud account in Invoice Studio
- Sign in to Invoice Studio.
- Open Account, then Privacy and data.
- Select Delete account.
- Review what will be deleted or retained, confirm your identity, and submit the request.
The request removes your sign-in account, profile, personal preferences, active sessions, device registrations, and organization memberships, subject to the retention described below. It does not silently delete an organization or another user's account.
If you are the only owner of an organization, Invoice Studio will require you to transfer ownership or request deletion of the organization before your personal account can be closed.
Request deletion without signing in
You can request account and associated-data deletion from the web by emailing Coetic X. Send the request from the account email address when possible.
Request account deletionInclude the account email and organization name, but do not send a password, authentication code, bank statement, identity document, or invoice. We may ask for a safer identity-verification step before acting on the request.
Delete an organization workspace
An organization owner may request closure of the entire workspace. Because this can affect other users and legally retained accounting records, the process verifies ownership, identifies required exports or transfers, revokes active access, and confirms whether any record is subject to a legal hold or mandatory retention.
Deleting one staff account does not delete the organization's invoices, audit history, clients, payroll, banking, declaration, or document records. Contact the organization first when the data was entered on its behalf.
Delete an uploaded source or other workspace data
Authorized users can request deletion of supported private source files from their document controls. A file under legal hold cannot be deleted until the hold is released. A source used as accounting evidence may require administrator approval or retention under the customer's policy and applicable law.
When a private source is deleted, Invoice Studio removes the object through an audited deletion process. A limited tombstone or audit event may remain to show that an authorized deletion occurred; it does not retain the deleted document content.
For correction or deletion of another workspace record, contact the organization administrator or submit a privacy request with the organization and record type.
Delete an optional local workspace
Mobile app
- Open the saved local workspace.
- Open Account, then Privacy and data.
- Select Delete local workspace and confirm.
This removes the local profile, businesses, clients, invoices, tasks, reminders, preferences, document records, and app-owned copies of imported sources from that installation.
Web dashboard
Clear cookies and site data for invoice-studio.coetic-x.com in the browser's privacy settings. This removes the browser-stored workspace from that browser profile. Clearing only the cache may not remove local storage.
Coetic X cannot remotely retrieve or delete a local workspace that was never synchronized. Device and cloud backups are controlled by the operating-system or browser provider.
Processing time
We acknowledge requests without undue delay and normally complete a verified personal-account deletion within 30 days. A complex organization request, ownership dispute, legal hold, or mandatory retention may take longer; if so, we will explain the reason and next step.
Information that may be retained
After a deletion request, we may retain only information reasonably required for:
- Accounting, tax, employment, or other legal retention obligations that apply to the customer or Coetic X.
- Security, fraud prevention, abuse investigation, legal claims, and proof that a deletion or access change occurred.
- Outstanding contractual or billing obligations.
- Encrypted disaster-recovery backups until normal rotation. Backup copies are isolated from ordinary product use and are not restored except for disaster recovery.
Where Coetic X processes customer-controlled records, the customer decides the lawful retention period. Deleting your membership removes your access even when the organization must retain the underlying business record.
